Hi fam,
this is my latest modular project i worked on.
Highly inspired by the beautiful concept of Petro Semeshchuk
https://www.artstation.com/wanderer117
In this project i wanted to use the midpoly weighted normal workflow.
I used the most of verts for chamfered edges, also i added every one meter a vert
to guarantee a nice outcome of the vertex paint.
Also i used as less as possible trim texture to give a little challenge on how to
maximize the outcome of the whole city i build with the modular set.
The Firecar has his own 2k texture set.
I thought about: "hmm can i texture the car with the existing trims"
But I took a break from simple trim textures and had some fun with this texture set.
I had a great time on this project especially on building the city around the part of the concept.
Also i wanted to show that the modularity of this set is given and the trim sheets can used as best as possible.
The Statue and the wooden thing on the roof are assets from Quixel, i wanted to add fast some more depth.
And it worked. Quixel assets are great to push the own project a bit further.
Thanks for visiting this portfolio piece!
Im already in the next project and hyped to publish the next one!
bye bye!
